Professor and Honorary Consultant in Care of the Older Person

In partnership with the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT), we have created a new Clinical Chair that combines research activities with the provision of clinical care. As Professor & Honorary Consultant in Care of the Older Person, you'll be a member of the Lincoln Institute of Health, a cross disciplinary research collaboration linking schools, colleges and external partners to investigate key issues of concern for health, social care and wellbeing using a 'cell to community' approach.

At the same time the Chair may also be a member of an Academic School associated with the Institute, depending on your disciplinary interests.

It's an opportunity to build on your impressive international research profile, while developing clinical services for Care of the Older Person at ULHT.

To be considered, you must be a respected professional in your field with:

  • A track record of internationally significant research
  • A relevant postgraduate qualification (or equivalent)
  • Relevant medical training and qualifications
  • Substantive clinical experience in Care of the Older Person
  • Broad teaching experience
  • Strong leadership qualities
